Mental Health First Aid: Supporting Youth

Mental Health First Aid: Supporting Youth is a virtual training designed to help you provide initial support to a young person showing signs of declining mental well-being or is in crisis. It is designated for members of the public who have frequent contact with young people (ages 12-24).

This course will teach you how to:

Method of Instruction 

This 10 hour virtual training opportunity is a combination of self-directed learning (Module 1: Two Hours) and virtual, facilitator-instructed l (Module 2 and 3. Four hours each Module.) Course participants are required to complete to Module 1 before participating in the Module 2 & 3. 

Participant Outcomes

Upon course completion, registrants receive a Certificate of Completion from the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
